What photos and measurements make a better moving quote?
Show the belongings and the route they have to travel.

Start with a room-by-room item list and wide photos. Include all boxes, bags, furniture, storage lockers, garages and balconies. Show large items from more than one angle.
Measure the difficult pieces
Give length, width and height with units. Measure the usable doorway opening, elevator door and cabin, tight hallway turns and stair landings. Tell us whether an item can be dismantled, and who will do that work.
Explain each location where help is needed
Include the floor number, actual stair flights, elevator booking, entrance steps, parking location and approximate carrying distance at each work location. Include both ends for a complete move or loading-and-unloading help; for unloading only or in-home help, describe only the relevant location. A floor number alone cannot tell us how much stair carrying is involved.
Flag special items early
Pianos, safes, stone tops, large appliances, unusually heavy furniture and fragile valuables need a separate assessment. Supply manufacturer weights where possible. A photo cannot reliably reveal weight, structural strength or a safe lifting method.
Keep the enquiry private
Use postal codes for the first enquiry rather than a public comment with your full address. Remove documents, faces, door codes and valuables you do not need to show. Attach the photos to your private email or Messenger conversation.
After review, confirm what is included, the proposed crew, equipment and availability. Accepting a quote is followed by a confirmation call; sending photos alone does not book the service.
